Comment on Consumers get smart with home automation tech by Brenon Daly http://blogs.451research.com/techdeals/ma/consumers-get-smart-with-home-automation-tech/comment-page-1/#comment-29676 Tue, 02 Jun 2015 17:00:03 +0000 http://blogs.451research.com/techdeals/?p=3585#comment-29676 Hi — sorry it’s taken so long to get back to you (WordPress got a bit overwhelmed by spam bots.)
To (finally) answer your question: for ‘smart home monitoring’, think cameras, motion sensors and similar devices that allow users to remotely see what’s going on back at home. (For ex, DropCam.) Hope that helps.
regards,
Brenon

Comment on SolarWinds’ Librato buy by Joel Giligan http://blogs.451research.com/techdeals/ma/solarwinds-librato-buy/comment-page-1/#comment-29581 Tue, 03 Feb 2015 17:47:40 +0000 http://blogs.451research.com/techdeals/?p=3461#comment-29581 It is a very interesting acquisition. It make sense for Solarwinds to try and get cloud based offering to supplement it’s current offering. It is interesting they chose Librato, I wonder if they looked at Stackify, they seems to share the approach SolarWinds has more than Librato.
